Devrait être, or Should be, is a project made in collaboration with PEROU association, led by Sebastien Thierry, and the Petit Déjeuners Solidaires association, that distribute breakfasts every morning at the Eole garden in Paris. The idea was to find a way to act subtly in the public space to manifest the need to institutionalize "hospitality" to UNESCO's intangible heritage. We decided to work with an unintuitive method. We started from what we aimed, so the “hospitality” was already on the list, and we faked the public gestures which were supposed to be realized. Such as subway signage to indicate a UNESCO sight or an honorary plaque. Thus, we gave the place another look for its inhabitants, but also another consideration from the rest of the city.
